I HAVE A POWER CORD AGAIN. HURRAH.
That would be the reason I have been so lax as far as the music meme goes, meanwhile; I got on the train on Friday afternoon, and for the entire ride as far as Albany I had my own row, which was quite nice. I watched Jurassic Park and then the first half of the fourth season of ReBoot and read a bit, I think, and it was all even more awesome because I had the entire row.
And then I got off in Albany and bought myself a Pepsi, because I'd had two hours of sleep the night before, and then got a![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
nepheliad and a rimestock, who kept me company during the layover. And also surprise cookies and surprise neck/shoulder rub, which were both fantastic, although the effects of the rub are gone now, alas.
And then I got back on the train, and a horrifically smelly woman got on and sat next to me, and then we sat in the train station for an hour. We ended up pulling into my station a good two hours and fifteen minutes later than we should've.
AND THEN. I got home and realized I'd forgotten the cookies on the train. And then, on Saturday, I went to go turn my computer on and realized I'd forgotten my power cord.
The upshot of which is that I now have a brand-new battery which actually holds a charge for more than three minutes, as well as a power cord, although I do not have any Ruecookies. :|
OH! It's 1:51, and I just got the "low battery" warning. I unplugged at 10:42 (I messagedtwistomatic about it, is why I know so specifically), which means I have about three hours of internetting on this battery. Awesome.
ANYWAY. I'm super-behind on the thirty-one in thirty-one thing, so I think I'm just going to post a whole bunch of songs on Friday. (Our plans for Friday are as follows: get up whenever we wake up, have Cinnabon muffin thingers from OUR OVEN, thank you freezer section at Wegmans, shower etc., go out and have Chinese at the buffet somewhere around here for lunch/dinner/thing, and go see Sherlock Holmes. I am excited, and also will obviously have time in the evening, so.)
Also, my mom drove me to the downtown library today and I walked out with I think five DWJ books, so I believe I am going to go make myself a bagel, take some Excedrin, and read for a while. And put band-aids on my thumbs. (Aaaaargh.)
