If nothing else I'm almost positive I passed my calc test. It was weird; the one page I did with basically no problems was the back page, the one with series. Only having two tests to deal with is a hell of a lot easier, though, so I guess that's it.

In chem today we were figuring out compound structures from NMR and IR readings; at the end of the class there was a compound drawn on the board, and he said he'd give five points to whoever could name it. Which is all fine and dandy, I don't think he was expecting anyone to answer, but someone shouted out "ethyl methyl ester" and he went O_O. It's an amusing expression to see on a professor's face.

(He was wrong, for the record -- it was ethyl acetate. But I would've gone with ethyl methyl ester first, myself.)

ALSO. Plz help, Mikey Way is turning into Jonathan Rhys-Meyers.

You know, somebody picspammed MCR the other day, and it was the first time I'd actually looked at most of them (I generally can't get past flailing at Gerard and how ungodly attractive I find him).

My first thought on seeing Mikey was "DAMN he looks like JRM." And then more flailing.

...Speaking of JRM, I have to rent Titus over the weekend. For legitimate scholarly purposes, of course.

YES. That thing he does, the facial hair that's drawn on in what looks like eyeliner? We did that once to a girl in drama so she'd be more obviously a guy. (I mean. She was Laertes, it was kind of obvious anyway, but. Helping the cause.)

I love the drawn-on facial hair. And it does look kind of like eyeliner...Ryan's the one who's the eye makeup god, right?

My dad has not in fact found the CD yet. It's in the office somewhere, but "the office somewhere" is a really really general term. Sometimes I think it just sort of swallows things. But, bright side, they're turning it into a bedroom and therefore cleaning it, so they stand a chance of finding it. (And oooh, thank you for reminding me, I ought to call and remind him. And thank him, cos I got my copy of Brave New World a couple days ago.)

Dude! I am so with you on Mikey = JRM! It was my first thought when the first pics of him post-Lasik came out, which then gave me happy, happy thoughts of Velvet Goldmine. Mmmm, JRM. Mmmmm, Mikey Way.

Also, in the Panic! poster I have on my wall (http://store.fueledbyramen.com/albumview.asp?idproduct=30389), Brendon looks an awful lot like both of them, y/y?
