My mom and I went to go see I Am Legend tonight. I was incredibly excited about it; I'm still kind of torn as to whether I feel let down or not. If I pretend that it was an original movie, an original story, that I hadn't gone into the theater with an idea of how it was going to go, I am free to admit that it was amazing. As an adaptation, um. It made me want to scream. Or shoot something.
But my mom really liked it! I tend to use her as a gauge, since usually the movies we go see that are adaptations are of books that I've read and she hasn't, so. There.
(They're right, though; Will Smith was really good.)
Meme time! If you had me under your command and could make me write anything, regardless of whether or not I know the fandom or write the pairing or if anybody even writes fic in that fandom and no matter how crack-addled it might be, what would you love to see me write? I am cuuuuurious.
