Back in May, I got an email from school informing me that they would be canceling the lab class I would have been taking this coming C term because there was only one other person registered (obviously that other person was the one I was taking it with; it's always nice to go into a class and have a lab partner already), and also informing me that while the section being offered B term was full, they would make special arrangements for us if we wanted to take it. And that if that didn't work, and either one of us had a problem filling some requirement, they would try and help us as best they could.

The only thing I was worried about was my minor, because I'd forgotten what classes I'd assigned to be in my minor. I finally called the registrar's office today to ask for that information, and ... discovered that they'd lost the paper.

On the bright side, I went back and re-figured everything out so that I can still get the major and the minor. The only problem I might run into is the fact that only three of the six minor classes can double-count, which is legit, but I might have a problem if the other three can't even count as my electives/ISPs/etc. to give me 15 credits total so I can, y'know. Graduate. I probably can graduate even without those classes, but, fingers crossed.

(I also had to email my main adviser to see if the random humanities class I'm taking C term will screw up my suff, since I think theoretically the suff project is supposed to be the last class or whatever in that series. I hope it won't, because I don't want to have to find something else to take. I already did that once this week.)

I finished Otherland: City of Golden Shadow today. Which, yay, I can move on to book 2, but I didn't have book 2. So I exercised, and showered, and footled around for a while, and then I looked outside and, lo and behold, there was an Amazon box outside our door! Containing River of Blue Fire as well as the ThouShaltNot CD I bought (Land Dispute, for anyone curious). It was terribly exciting. And this way I don't have to wait to keep reading.

Trufax: when I did my most recent Otherland reread, I totally bought a second copy of the fourth book because my original copy was on the other side of the country and I didn't want to wait to ship it.
