Someone explain to me why I thought it would be a good idea to read Insomnia right after reading Stranger in a Strange Land?

Because I sure don't know.

I started to read Insomnia, but simply could not get through it. Maybe it's just me . . . But what's so terrifying about insomnia? Bah.

Oh, it starts out incredibly slow, I'll give you that. Once it gets going, though, it's amazing.
