I was going to get a digital camera. See: I had one, but I dropped it on its head somewhere around, I dunno, beginning of B term? And I told my mom, and she told me I should ask my dad for a new one for a birthday present. So, okay, that means it was closer to the end of A term. But I didn't, because I forgot, so she told me I should ask him for it for Christmas, and in advance, so maybe I could get it over Thanksgiving, and I went "eh". And never brought it up again. And then she told my dad that what I wanted, what I really wanted, was a digital camera. Which, uh, no. So we managed to straighten it out on Saturday, and they went and exchanged it for hard drives for Mikey, so hurrah, I didn't have to pretend to love something I didn't want.
What I did get:
-- From Under the Cork Tree, Fall Out Boy
-- Take This to Your Grave, Fall Out Boy
-- A Prairie Home Companion (the DVD)
-- pink sparkly argyle knee socks with skulls on them
-- toe socks with a crowned skull
-- bobby pins with the pirate skull&crossbone thing
-- THREE sets of hair sticks, one of which has DANGLY THINGS on it
-- Pete Wentz action figure (he's making the most awesome face ever)
-- Patrick Stump action figure
-- Panic! At The Disco t-shirt (it's yellow. and soft. and awesome.)
-- Penguins! At The Disco t-shirt (quite possibly the most awesome thing in the history of awesome things)
:D.
Today we all sleeeept. And then we got up, and showered and stuff, and did our traditional Movie And Chinese Buffet. The movie this year was Night at the Museum, which would have been worth it just for the Spider-Man 3 trailer at the beginning, but it was also pretty good. Not awful. Also Owen Wilson was a cowboy and Robin Williams was Theodore Roosevelt, and both of those facts still amuse me.
And then we came home and played cards for a while. Also, my dad thinks Brendon has pretty lips. This possibly should not amuse me as much as it does.
