Two important orders of business!

one: Who else is doing NaNo this year? Or something resembling it? I am, I think -- I'm parcae on the NaNo site, shocker -- but I don't have a writing journal yet. But! People who are doing it and/or who have writing journals already! What are they? I want to know so I can follow!

two: I have a new iPod! Blue 8gig nano which needs a name. I am so bad at naming, guys, seriously. Help me please? :| :| :| I feel like I used up my best name with the first one I had, and then it just all went downhill from there.

So I was going to do that icon meme thing, okay, but it gave me two pairings in their own fandoms (one of which was Frank/Father Mulcahy, which, uh, no), a monkey involved with an android, and someone paired with Willy Wonka (I repeat: uh, no).

In other, less-scarring news, I very nearly finished my calc test this time around. The problem I didn't finish I really didn't have any hope for, so instead of working the whole thing out I figured out the area (which, actually, I just realized I probably shouldn't have done) and wrote down formulas I thought were vaguely relevant.

Part of the problem, I think, is the fact that he teaches on quiz days. And then gives us a full-length test.

The chem test was sort of iffy, too. I mean, the back page, with the open-ended calculations, was fine -- those were homework problems that I'd done not twelve hours before -- but some of the multiple-choice sucked. I'd moan and groan about never needing to know lattice energy ever again, but for all I know I will, so I'll just hush.

To pack, to watch ReBoot and knit, or to NaNo? These are burning questions.
